This restaurant was highly recommended to us by a number of co-workers. We were very excited by the steamed dumplings which brought back fond memories of dumplings in Beijing--thick slighly chewy skin, flavorful filling. And we liked the peanuts with dried tofu. Unfortunately despite a request to make sure that the spice level was normal for Sichuan food, they \"dumbed down\" the seasonings. So, for example, while the twice cooked pork and the Chung ?? chicken was delicious, it wasn\'t spicy. Oh and they didn\'t use very much Sichuan peppercorn on the chicken. We found this to be disappointing & frustrating. We know that the seasoning on our food wasn\'t \"normal\" spice level because the peanuts [which are made in a big batch and dished out as ordered] were much more spicy and reminded us of food in Sichuan restaurants in LA and in China. We will try them again and give them another chance but if they insist on giving us \"white guy\" seasoning, then we will go somewhere else.
